Fire Station Fujairah Fire Station Fujairah

The Project

The Fire Station Fujairah Sakamkam is being operated jointly by fire fighters from EFRC and the Fujairah Civil Defence since 01.10.2009. Until this time only the Administration and the Fire Prevention Department of the Fujairah Civil Defence where situated here. The City of Fujairah, which is located at the east coast of the Emirates at the Gulf of Oman has 63 904 inhabitants. The whole Emirate Fujairah has 165 158 inhabitants (Statistical year book 2009 / point of date 01.12.2009).

The Fujairah Civil Defence Headquarter is located between the Seaport and the City Centre at Sakamkam Road. This is an optimal location for response in all directions, particularly the travel-times of our platoon to Down Town Fujairah, the Port Area and Industrial Area benefit greatly from this.
