Responsibilities
It is your task to lead and assist the units of the local fire department in the execution of operations and the implementation and preparation of training and to organize trainings by yourself. All operations, trainings and daily routines are conducted by the rules and regulations of the German fire service system, customized to UAE standards. With your knowledge and skills, which you have achieved at fire fighting schools, trainings at your fire station and operational experience, you will be acting as a group leader and will take the responsibility for your subordinates.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 4 years’ practical experience in all kind of fire fighter missions.
- Extensive knowledge and skills to all tasks of a fire fighter
- Dealing with fire trucks and fire fighters technical equipment
- Familiarity with German fire service or European regulations
- Must have Group Leader Course or comparable qualification
- A valid preventive medical examination, including SCBA
- Well trained to use SCBA
- Familiar with the operation and deal with the fire-fighting vehicles and breathing apparatus.
- Preferably done a course in dealing with hazardous material
- Able to do first aid measures including the usage of cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- English language proficiency
